Winter Softball Camp Dates Set

Dates set for December 5-6

VALDOSTA, Ga. - Valdosta State softball has set the dates for the team's winter softball camps. December 5 will be a skills camp, and there will be a pitching clinic December 6.

Please download this form, fill it out completely and send it to the softball coaching staff to register for the camp.

Skills Camp
The skills camp will last from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a one hour lunch break at noon. Campers must bring a lunch because VSU will not provide any. Girls from age 8 and up are welcome to join the camp. The focus of the skills camp will be infield and outfield drills as well as hitting.

The cost of the camp is $65 if pre-registered, $75 on the day of the camp.

Additional skills camp information:
- Campers will be divided into groups according to age and talent level.
- Campers must bring a glove, cleats, bat, helmet and batting gloves. Please be sure to have name written on all equipment.

Pitching Clinic
There will be two pitching clinics December 6. The first will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for ages 8-13. The morning clinic will focus on improving the basic fundamentals of pitching. The afternoon clinic will be held from 1-4 p.m. for ages 14 and up. This clinic will focus on improving the fundamentals of each pitch and learning to throw them correctly.

The cost of the pitching clinic is $40 if pre-registered, $50 on the day of the camp.

Additional pitching clinic information:
- If possible, bring a catcher.
- Campers must have cleats and a glove. Please be sure to have name written on all equipment.
