VALDOSTA STATE ATHLETICS VISITOR'S GUIDE
ABOUT THE EVENT: The South ITA Small College Regional Championship will be hosted this year by Valdosta State University at both McKey Park and the newly renovated VSU Tennis Courts, both located in Valdosta, Ga. Each team in the South Region has an opportunity to compete in the event, and Singles and doubles champions from the four-day tournament will earn an automatic berth to the 2017 Oracle ITA Cup, which is scheduled for October 11-15, 2017. In addition, each divisional singles winner and Oracle Cup Doubles Champion will receive wildcards into the Division I ITA Fall National Championships on November 1-5, 2017 in Indian Wells, Calif.
TEAMS: The following teams will compete in the 2017 South ITA College Regional Championship Tournament. during the first two days of the tournament, the women will compete at the VSU Tennis Courts, and the men will compete at McKey Park. All competition during the final two days will consolidate to the VSU Tennis Courts.

ADMISSION: Admission to the event, both at McKey Park and The VSU Tennis Courts, is FREE.

VENUE: Home of the 2011 National Championship men's tennis team, the VSU Tennis Courts are located directly adjacent to The Complex on Baytree Avenue on the campus of Valdosta State University. Considered as one of the top venues in the Gulf South Conference, the facility features 12 fully lighted hard courts, four of which were added in 2011. The facility saw a complete renovation in 2017 with newly refinished surfaces, windscreen installation, and a new color scheme. In addition, covered bleacher seating areas are available for spectators.
VSU McKey Park is in the middle of Valdosta on Patterson Street and is home to the hugely popular Harry B. Anderson Tennis Center. The tennis center features 12 tennis courts that are used for lessons, clinics, and general tennis recreation. It also has a tennis shelter, bleachers, bathrooms and water fountains.

PARKING: Parking for the VSU Tennis Courts will be available in both the Sustella lot and the Oak Street lot near The Complex. McKey Park features parking along Burton Avenue.
